Event Description:
Liberty Tax Service is committed to fighting identity theft and fraud, as well as giving back to the community. That's why we've teamed up with our community partner, Andrews Federal Credit Union, to co-host a Community Shred & Share Day – so you can safely dispose of your old personal records and reduce your risk of identity theft or fraud. You can also help us help those in need by donating nonperishable food items in support of the Southern Maryland Food Bank.

Bring up to two containers of your confidential documents to shred during this event!  Acceptable items include:
 
  • Bank Statements
  • Credit Card Receipts
  • Contracts
  • Computer Printouts
  • Cancelled Checks
  • Medical Records
  • Credit Reports
  • Financial Statements
  • Leases
  • Drug Screens
  • Credit Applications
  • Tax Returns
  • Insurance Records
  • Personal Records
 
Please be sure to go through your belongings prior to the event.
We will not accept binders, books, magazines or batteries.
