Event Description:
The National Day of Prayer is an annual day of observance held on the first Thursday of May, designated by the United States Congress when people are asked: "to turn to God in prayer and meditation."
Prayer brings people together.
- Prayer builds bridges between opposing persons and even political parties.
- prayer reminds us that we are created in God's image and He desires for us to represent Him everywhere we go.
- Prayer brings UNITY.
Our sanctuary will be open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm for anyone who desires to stop in to pray for our nation. A special assembly will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
