Hospice of the Chesapeake announces new board members
(PASADENA, MD, July 22, 2025) — Three prominent members of the community were recently appointed to the Hospice of the Chesapeake Board of Directors. They are Vanessa Aburn, Dr. Tom-meka Archinard and Laural Brinkley.
Aburn is retired after over 25 years of experience in strategic planning, marketing and operations in the healthcare industry. Her most recent positions include Principal for Advisory Services at xG Health and Vice President of Strategic Planning and Marketing at both Medstar and Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Archinard is Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of University of Maryland Capital Region Health. She is a nationally recognized physician executive and healthcare strategist with more than 20 years of experience leading clinical operations, advancing health system performance and building high-reliability organizations.
Brinkley is Vice President Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer of CalvertHealth Medical Center. She has over two decades of experience in nursing leadership, strategic planning, and quality improvement.
Hospice of the Chesapeake is honored to welcome these new board members in support of its mission.
