Upward Thrive Academy, Inc. (UTA) is a 501(c)(3) human services organization, dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to overcome adversities and function at their greatest potential. We are driven by our mission—"to promote personal, family, community, and occupational wellness through educational and vocational training, health and developmental resources, and community engagement for people of all ages.” We execute our mission by providing programs and resources to incite health and wellness among individuals, their families, and the respective communities in which they reside.

Wellness is the continual process of maintaining social, emotional, environmental, intellectual, and physical well-being. UTA’s year-round wellness programs are designed to educate and mentor in goal-setting, leadership, communication, writing and self-publishing, and physical health and wellness.
